KY-Force®
Highly oxidation-resistant, multilayer high strength flexible graphite gasket sheets for the process industry
KY-Force is a quality gasket sheet made from several layers of stainless steel and highly oxidation-resistant flexible graphite. The layers of graphite and stainless steel sheets are connected to each other with high strength using a special process. The impregnation of the sealing plate reduces leakage and improves handling.
Applications
At high pressures up to 250 bar and high surface pressures
As flange gasket, seal equipment, tongue and groove seals
In heat exchangers, sight glasses, etc.
With the sheet size of 1,500 x 1,500 mm gaskets can be produced up to a diameter of 1,500 mm in one piece.
Properties
KY-Force® was developed for use at high pressure and high temperatures.
The gasket sheet combines very high temperature resistance with excellent mechanical properties
Seals made of KY-Force allow for very high surface pressures, have a high blow-up safety, excellent chemical resistance, very low leakage rates and very low hot and cold flow properties.
